What's Happening

Mass for Life


The Respect Life Office of the Diocese of Little rock invites you to the annual Mass for Life on Sunday, January 18, at the Cathedral. The schedule will be as follows:


  • 11:20 - 11:50 a.m. Adoration and Rosary for Life
  • 12:05 p.m. Mass with Bishop Taylor
  • Free tacos after Mass (grab-and-go to make it easy to attend the March for Life)
  • 2 p.m. March for Life (along Capitol Avenue to the steps of the Arkansas State Capitol)

2026 Bible Diaries


The 2026 Bible Diaries are available in the vestibule of the Cathedral. Many thanks to the Cathedral parishioners who responded to the request to cover the costs involved with the purchase of these books. These diaries provide Daily and Sunday readings for the Liturgical Year and other valuable information, including details about the Saints, the Order of Mass, Daily and Family Prayers, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the Benediction, Rosary prayers, Stations of the Cross, and a two-year calendar.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Mass


The Diocesan Council for Black Catholics will be holding the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Mass at the Cathedral on Saturday, January 10, at 4:30 p.m. A reception will follow in McDonald Hall. Join us for a celebration of faith and unity!


This year's recipient of the Daniel Rudd Award is Wendell Redmond.

Confirmation Sacramental Preparation


The Cathedral will begin Confirmation preparation classes for adolescents in January. Classes will meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the Youth Room beginning January 14. Eligibility requirements are as follows:


  • adolescents currently in 7th and 8th grades
  • received First Communion
  • current copy of Baptismal Certificate with notations
  • a sponsor

Homebound Ministry


If you are homebound or know someone who is and would like to receive Reconciliation and/or Communion, please contact the Cathedral Office. The Cathedral has an established ministry to the homebound. Oftentimes we are not aware of those who need home visits, so contact us by phone, 501-374-2794, #221, or email, shallman@csalr.org.

Daily Mass Schedule


There will be no Adoration, Reconciliation or Mass on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the week of January 4, as Fr. Joseph will be absent on retreat. Thank you for your prayers and understanding.
