Adult Faith Formation

Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) / Catechumenate

The Catechumenate is the process by which a person is fully initiated into the Catholic Church. The new OCIA structure is more like an invitation for an individual to the continuous process of spiritual formation. The process invites an individual seeking to join the Catholic Church to participate in parish activities, the Mass, and doctrinal sessions. If you are thinking about becoming Catholic, wish to complete your Sacraments of Initiation, or just want to learn more about the Catholic faith, the Catechumenate warmly welcomes you in your journey of exploration and discernment.

For more information, contact OCIA Coordinator Debbie King at (501) 231-4193, or rcia@csalr.org.
